What is Medconsultants?

Medconsultants is a forensic medico-legal practice established since 1996.  It is owned and directed by Queensland medical practitioners based in Brisbane.

We provide high quality impairment and medico-legal evaluations. Our consultants and affiliates can undertake assessments of adults and adolescents for solicitors, insurance companies, self-insurers, WorkCover, government departments and Family Court and other matters (eg childhood brain injury claims).

What can we do for you?

We supply timely, objective medical evaluations by a team of mature and experienced medical consultants in the specialty of psychiatry, orthopaedics, rheumatology, dermatology, otolaryngology (ear nose and throat) and occupational health written in language that is easy to understand. Medconsultants offers assessment of head injuries, personal injuries, victim compensation and fitness for duty.

Our comprehensive reports include recommendations for future treatment and/or vocational rehabilitation with outcomes.  The advice you receive is always sound and clinically based to assist you to achieve a fair and intelligible resolution of claims management questions.

Appointments can also be made with Dr Lucille Douglas and Dr Graeme Senior (Assessment Services in Psychology) who specialise in psychological assessments of children, adolescents and adults.  Dr Douglas and Dr Senior have a particular focus on neuropsychological assessment following head injury and evaluation of overall cognitive functioning.
