Dr Catherine Oelrichs - Psychiatrist

MBBS, FRANZCP, PIRS

Dr Oelrichs completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1984 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 1996.

Dr Oelrichs has a special interest in the areas of PTSD, anxiety and depression, drugs and alcohol, shock, pain and suffering, psychogeriatrics and illness behaviour.

She has many years experience in conducting independent medico-legal assessments and report writing.  Dr Oelrichs is accredited in the use of the Psychiatric Impairment Rating Scale (PIRS).

• Chief Training Supervisor, RANZCP Registrar.
• Training program, FCIMHS.
• Medical Assessment Tribunal appointee.
