Dr Andrew Christensen - Psychiatrist

Dr Christensen gained his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1985 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2004.

Since 1995 he has worked in private practice as a general psychiatrist and commenced medico-legal assessments in April 2004.

Dr Christensen's main interests include eating disorders (on admitting roster for Eating Disorder Program at NFC), trauma (on admitting roster for Trauma and Dissociative Disorders Unit at Belmont Private Hospital), anxiety and mood disorders (currently providing the lectures on anxiety disorders to the junior and senior registrars) and psychotherapy of borderline personality disorder.
