Dr James Muir - Dermatologist

Dr Muir completed his dermatology training in 1994.  He works in private practice at the Belmont Specialist Centre and is the head of the dermatology department at the Mater Hospital, South Brisbane.

Dr Muir has been a deputy chair for the dermatology medical assessment tribunal for Q-Comp for the last four years and is the chairman of the Brisbane Hospitals Dermatology Group.  He is the dermatologist for "TeleDerm National" an online educational and consultational dermatology service run by the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.

Dr Muir's areas of interest are skin cancer, industrial dermatitis, occupational dermatology, medical litigation, skin and systemic disease and tele-dermatology.
