Dr Kerry Outerbridge - Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr Outerbridge has been a practicing Orthopaedic Surgeon for the past 28 years.  His primary medical degree was achieved at Melbourne University in 1972.  Dr Outerbridge received his Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery from the College of Surgeons in Canada in 1980 and from the College of Surgeons Australia in 1999.

He practiced orthopaedics in Canada from 1981 to 1995 and then moved to Brisbane to become a full-time Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Queensland.

Dr Outerbridge is currently working full-time as a private practitioner in orthopaedic surgery with special interests in trauma, arthroplasty and general orthopaedics.

Throughout his career he has had an interest in medico-legal reporting for both plaintiff and defendant.  He has been a member of the medical assessment tribunal for QComp for the past 6 years.
